How to Teach Art in Grades 4 through 8: For the Non-Artists Among Us
$4.00
I used to hold a workshop called "Do I HAVE to Teach Art? (Teaching Art Made Easy/ier)". It turned out to be more popular than my writing workshop. Teacher attendees came from schools that had no art teacher and they needed ideas. But too many continually sneaked into my workshop and I had to stop it.
I am not an artist, but my school, too, sometimes elected to spend money elsewhere. So, I had to come up with ideas. The curriculum guide was overly detailed and terribly boring, thus I did a lot of researching, thinking and creating. The ideas shared here are just a few of those used with my classes and in my workshop. 11 Pages / PDF / 4-8

"This author's essay-and-graphics style lesson presentation keeps grabbing my attention. This is my second listing of one of his free products: a set of ideas of art lessons that will work for students and teachers even when artistic tendencies are not present. A great file to have on hand for those times when students need a break from the schedule or when you find yourself assigned to an unexpected fill-in duty." 11 Pages
